The Collective

Women Who Drum is a growing collective of women rhythm artists.
Each performance features a curated lineup of musicians, creating new rhythmic conversations through collaboration.

Percussionist, composer and producer Swarupa Ananth created Women Who Drum as a platform for women rhythm artists to collaborate, experiment and perform together. Each edition of the ensemble brings together a different combination of musicians.
